The Path of Freedom – 18 places, one story

The Path of Freedom is a unique walking route through 18 villages and towns in the municipalities of Wageningen, Rhenen, Neder-Betuwe, Overbetuwe, Renkum, Arnhem, Ede and Veenendaal. 
During your walk, you can reflect on the value of freedom. You commemorate, experience and contemplate what freedom means – then, now and in the future.
You will also pass various Second World War memorials along the way.

We offer the Path of Freedom in the following ways:

Path of Freedom ‘Complete’: On this 8-day walking tour, you walk all stages of the Path of Freedom in one go. The journey then starts and ends in Wageningen.
